What if i doubt my cognitive ability to doubt?

Can there be total scepticism?

For "Still Alive", i can't link Faith to Doubt. You don't mean religious faith do you?

There cannot be doubt without faith. As a skeptic you still have faith in something, something that you cannot prove beyond a shadow of doubt. Yet, you believe it to be so. Now, if you believe something that you cannot prove, even to yourself, then you doubt it or you would know it.

I doubt if you really doubt your ability to doubt. It's what made you a skeptic in the first place.

Descartes is famous for his skepticism in "Methods," but in reality spent much more time analyzing empiracal data than he did in doubting. Perhaps you could try reading in the area of Epistemology.

Skepticism is like anything else.

One persons idea of skepticism may well be another's idea of blind faith.
