Well when I was pregnant with my daughter I had a lot of possibilities but I remembered that no one in my family was ever named after my grandmother who past away when I was a little girl mainly because she always thought Adrian was more of a biys name that a girls name so what I did was made it my daughters middle name and made it Adriana instead of Adrian and then used Serene as her first name. So try working out the names you really like and if you have any family that you would like to name the child after you can always do that. Plus your family memeber would feel very proud to have a child named after them. I know because my dad was so happy that I named my daughter after his mom.

I have a little girl due in May, and I used www.babynamesworld.com for help...they can be a little harsh at first, but you will learn a lot about how NOT to name your child. Also, I would go to www.BabyCenter.com and look at the top 100 baby names for 2006, and try to stay away from at least the top 30 names. You don't want your child to be one of many in her/his class, and no uniqueness to their name. Good luck!
