I think it is possible to think like the great ones. It definitely takes intelligence, hard study and perserverance. However, there is one caveat. While I believe that other's can match the quantitative intellect of people like Einstein, there is a good reason why people with high intellects don't pump out new theories everyday. It takes genuine curiosity and the perserverance to study new unsolved problems with a dedication that is not easily matched by other mere mortals.

I think you must be a genious, to think like Einstein. To be a genious you must be born a genious, and you have to study a lot.
Einstein at about 11 years learned the Euclidian Geometry whitout any book.

Well they were actually people who were gifted to mankind,had tremendously high IQ's and were totally dedicated to their subject.
To think like them is certainly possible if and only if you just concentrate on the topic you are learning.
Even while sleeping you must get the dreams of that topic.So i mean concentrate very very very hard on the topic and see your brain discover new and good things.

you can think like then once you get the right side of your brain working. it is normally the left side of your brain that is thinking.

to get the right side of your brain working, listen to music!!!

google the word "vedic mathematics" and you will understand more of what I am saying
