why do they call yorkshire people tight, i thought it was supposed
to be the scots

Im a proud Yorkshireman and i'm generous to a fault. You can't tarnish all folk with the same brush but the Yorkshire race of people are without doubt the most genuine in the country.

Maybe because Yorkshire won the war of the roses and didn't give it away. I hear that Yorkshire folk are careful not tight.

Because it's true - I certainly am (From West Yorks too). Yorkshire men are like Scots, only without the generosity.

club non of us have
seen him buy a round
so he is tight we tell
him and he thinks
its funny he is good
