I think you'll get 3 points, whether you remember or not. It's no use arguing with the authority's coz they'll have you on camera!! I got 3 points for doing 40 in an area which is normally 50(but was apparently changed coz of roadworks!(The system stinks!!) I still had to pay a fine and got 3 points! huh!

This is going on in Cleveland and there is going to be a class action lawsuit because since running a red light is against the law, the cities are collecting MONEY and NOT ENFORCING THE LAW! So, hang in there, many people are contesting this. Many believe that errors are recorded and the car that actually goes through the light is not captured, but a car that is close by. If you can't remember, you likely are an innocent victim, in my opinion. It is not at all an error proof system, but rather a money maker.

3 points and £60. If possible, don't respond to letter, or to the reminder. Claim they wern't received. Do not admit to being the driver or knowing who it was, claim on that day you were moving stuff for a friend who was emigrating to a non english speaking country and several people drove the car so you cannot remember who was driving. They HAVE to PROVE you were the driver - don't make it easy for Blairs revenue collectors!!

Request a photograph from the people concerned showing day, date and time generation!
It's up to them to prove not you!

does more than one person drive your car - it could have been them!
and i didn't tell you this but if more than one person is insured to drive one car then if you 'can't remember' who was driving that day they can't give you any points on your licence!
if its just you then i'm afraid you will get 3 points and a TS10 mark on your licence.

Were you drunk at the time? If you were, it's perhaps best not to mention it in court!
