I have had nothing but bad luck this week. Where is God when I need him? My phone is broke, Im overdrawn in my bank account. Can't pay my rent.
My kids don't want to listen to me and I have no gas in my car!
I have no money and my husband isn't working all that great!

Did God take a break from me?

No, He's still right there in your heart. First of all, I believe you have to start off by thanking him for the blessings you do have: your children and husband for starters. You have a computer, the Internet, and you certainly are a good writer; you put nice complete sentences together with proper punctuation, etc., so you can express your thanks for these gifts as well. Sounds like your life is spinning in the wrong direction at the moment. So start by thinking some positive thoughts and move on making the best of what you have. If you keep on thinking that God is taking a break from you, then he probably will. Call Him back into your life and express gratitude for all that you do have. Good luck.

"Bad Luck" has nothing to do with God. But he is calling you No Pido...The fact that you would ask this question is proof..you want his help, but he's not a lucky rabbits foot that you just call upon when ever you need "Good Luck." If you make Jesus your father he wont desert his child. Want proof ? Make an offering or tithing and watch him bless you in return. Go find a preacher you can talk to or call a toll free number where someone can speak to you further.

God NEVER takes a break from you! He has nothing to do with your bad luck. You and you only are responsible for what happens.

If you pray and ask God for help, he will but in His time table, not yours.

You need to budget better, not spend money on excess things, teach your kids discipline and respect and tell your husband to keep looking for a job. (Do you work?). If not, get a job.

Hang in there, things WILL get better and I am saying a prayer for you right now.

I'm sure the word says He'll never leave you or forsake you. Learn to use the word with faith like a tool to battle against these things that come against you and your family. Your a child of the Most High God.Don't stand for these things to cause strife with you or your family.

Did you take a break from God? No one said the road would be easy. And he is an on-time God, if you've been obeying him, He'll show up.

My best friends little brother is dying of cancer.

What makes you think you deserve his attention above others. If you believe in God, you should also know that one of the biggest things He preached about was putting others above yourself. Remember that no matter how bad things get....they can always get worse.

Look on the bright side, my friend. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Feed your spirit, not your material needs and you will feel and see Him right there with you, going through this with you, making things better than they would be had you NOT acknowledged Him.
