if that's who you are and what you are comfortable in, wear it!!! don't change yourself just for a date!!! btw, that's what my husband's always worn and he got the girl!!

I take it you are a man.
Try a button-down shirt and pants. The pants shows that you put in more effort into dressing up, this scores points with your date. Jeans have this casual i-dont-really-care feel to it. And just in case your date shows up in a slip dress or anything too dressy you won't be too underdressed.

i imagine that is nice! in basic terms ensure that you do seem stylish... be sure that's not a "loud" blouse (brightly colored) via the undeniable fact that genuinely says "seem, i'm immature!" Ug, and please NO HAWIIAN SHIRTS. Ug. Double ug. Get a kind of blouse that you spot in PacSun, and ensure the jeans are sparkling! good success!

I think it would be ok, as long as it looks good together and is not wrinkled. but don't wear tennis shoes with it, wear black or brown dress shoes and a coordinating belt.
