Absolutely, Claims Direct are some of the worst (and cheapest)adverts ever. That stupid man who falls from the ladder is a complete eejit, and that Irish woman who tripped up on the plastic strapping and can't keep up with the rent should have been looking where she was going.
Norton Finance is a pain in the proverbial too. What is the point of all of those people changing into ill fitting clothes in a shop Changing Room?!!!
As for Barry Scott and his Cillit bang, it should be 'Bang! And the Jerk Is Gone!'
The car ad where the woman crashes her boyfriends model aeroplane because he kicked her car door shut it really quite funny though.

Don't watch adverts. Go for a Jimmy or get a drink when they're on. Never miss anything cos of Sky+. Would rather have adverts than pay more for the TV licence.

Yes, especially on channels you have to pay a subscription for, like sky sports or sky movies. They must be making a fortune anyways, without funding from adverts as well. Also, whats with the adverts on ITV in the middle of the formula 1 races, thats just beyond a joke!

AB-SO-LUTELY!!! There are way too many adverts. There seem to be even more ad breaks on American TV - you can see that on shows like 'Oprah,' where she announces a break, but here (on Irish TV) the show continues without the break. Admittedly a few of the ads are entertaining but most of them are just annoying, especially during a drama or film. Grr!!!

Exactly. Best to tape your programs & watch them after; then you can fast forward at 4x speed through the adverts.
