Why does there seem to be more skid marks when cars turn off the main road onto a side road, compared to cars leaving a side road to join the main road?

It happens to everyone at some point: on the main road, you're in a hurry. You have to find a place to turn. At the last second (we can't seem to control this last-second thing) you just grit your teeth, convulse your arms, and leave a big ol' skid mark.
But once you're done with the side road, after leaving your skid mark, you do whatever side-road business you had to do, and return to the main road. You have to take it calm. Turn too fast onto the main road and you might draw attention to the skid mark you left earlier. Besides, your side-road business is done. No need to hurry. Hurrying makes you fidget in your seat, and you'll be more apt to have your foot slip and hit the brakes, adding another skid mark to your list. Go calm.
Sometimes people want to be rid of their date, so they rush around in their search for a turn-off. Eventually they find one, but it takes a nasty skid mark to do the job.

i might gag, bypass directly to the settee the place i might sleep for the evening, awaken, and get in touch with an outstanding divorce legal expert and then bypass to the food market and purchase him a stick of stain remover for ol' circumstances sake.

Usually a turn-on, unless there is used rubber left behind.
