Don't worry about it. Your son is doing the right thing to avoid milk. Make sure his diet is varied and has plenty of green vegetables and he will do very well. Cow's milk should not be consumed in any of its forms by humans.
Humans are the only animal that drinks milk past infancy, and then it's not even from the correct species! Too many people are still trying to defend milk's supposed health benefits. Unfortunately, they are either using old information or information obtained from research funded by the dairy association. How many people would enjoy a glass of dog's milk or rat's milk? What makes cows special?
There are only two reasons which I've found to support humans drinking cow's milk. We have grown up hearing that it's good for us and we've grown accustomed to the taste and texture. There is absolutely no nutrition that can not be obtained elsewhere, minus the negatives. Calcium seems to be the major claim for milk. It can be found elsewhere in green vegetables, almonds, and many other sources. Where do you think the cows obtain the calcium to put into the milk? Where do other larger animals (elephants, horses, deer, whales, etc) get calcium? Why we continue to drink cow's milk laced with growth hormones, antibiotics, and who knows what else is beyond me.
Since I've given up drinking milk about 5 years ago my health has greatly improved. I suffer fewer allergy problems, asthma and breathing problems are greatly reduced, I'm sleeping better, and I have more energy.
In the '50s smoking was considered harmless but now we realize its dangers. One person at a time and eventually the truth will become widely known that cow's milk is only for baby cows. Milk is indeed the perfect food, but only for infants of the proper species.
Do some research online and decide for yourself.

I heard baby or child doesn't eat something because of it's not just their taste, quite often that food isn't any good for their body ( of course he/she doesn't know about it).
One of my daughter has light eczema and doesn't like milk since she was small, so I have been giving her soya milk when she starts eat cereals in the morning. But that is after she was 5 years, till that I did not give her milk, even not many daily products either though she is absolutely healthy child.
If you are worried about calcium intake, he will be all right as long as he is eating variety of food ( green veg, beens, pulses, fish etc...). You can try soya product like tofu, dried figs, black treacle, sesame seeds, almonds and so on , they are rich in calcium if he doesn't like any daily foods. If you need something milky for his cereals then you could try even rice or oat milk.
Hope this will help you a bit.

We had a similar problem....
I started by mixing formula with a little milk...and adding more and more until there was more milk then formula.
Also..we tried soy milk..which is more expensive..but he would actually drink it. I think his body just wasn't mature enough to deal with all the enzymes in regular milk.
Talk to your pediatrician to make sure the baby isn't lactose intolerant...and get their advice. Offer milk products in baby yogurts...etc....
good luck.

My son has a milk intolerence so can have no dairy products. I give him soya milk and soya products. Soya milk tends to be a bit sweeter than dairy milk. Also most soya milks have added vitamins and minerals so I know he's getting the calcium he needs for his bones and teeth. You could try cheeses and yogurts/fromage frais'. All contain calcium. Its important that they get the vitamins and minerals that milk provides (calcium) but it does not have to come from milk.

I had the same problem with my daughter! She hated milk! But the Doctor told me it was really important for her to drink it! So we just kept offering it to her and that was all we offered! Eventually after a month she started drinking it and has loved it ever since!
Good Luck!

milk puddings normally go down well, rice, custard etc, have you tried a cup of tea in a feeder cup, if you are worried about caffine levels, you can buy caffine free tea, you could also try adding cheese/ white sauces to savoury meals, hope this helpsxx
just had another thought, maybe try evaporated milk from the tin, it is good warm on cereals

My son is the same way. We tried soy milk in all flavours...but that gave him a bad bum rash. we tried goats milk wouldn't ake that either. We have now settled on yogurt drinks. You are going to have to keep trying and discuss it with your Dr to see what other options you have.

Hello there, we had the same problem with our james, she wasnt having none of it either. We spoke to freinds, relatives and even the health visitor and the only way we got any results was by force feeding the bugger with a catapault....../
