Govt should take steps to go to rural areas and campaign about terrorism.In rural and urban schools slide shows to be shown about the after effects of terrorism.Future citezens like us should get inspired by those slide shows and should take a oath that" we will destroy terrorism".Ghandhi's biography should be made compulsory in schools at all levels.Every parent should tell their wards about adverse effects of terrorism and patriotism

People rule ! Overtime, if the people don't approve ... the government or what ever it is that displeases the people will go down. The most powerful person, police department, military, or government cannot survive without the support of people. Only people can defeat terrorism.

You can never totally stop it. Picture terrorism in a way we can all relate to:
You are in a crowded mall on a Saturday (very crowded). People jam packed all around each other,
You smack a person in front of you on the side of their head, and quickly disappear back further into the crowd.
How many people will witness that act? How many will care? How many will report it?
You could probably do that 10 times in different areas of the mall before mall security starts to really do anything about it. And even then you could probably do it at least a few more times before you decide to do the same thing at a different mall.
The basics are the same with terrorism, but of course on a deadly scale.

I agree, it was on the nws that a suspect package was found in London today, one in birmingham yesterday, there have been terror arrests in birmingham this week and a series of letterbombs - something is clearly not working. Why do humans have to fight each other rather than work together to solve the problems like climate change? And you can try and tell all the children, ad I think they should, but pure uman greed and envy will mean that terrorism and fighting will never cease.

You will never be able to fully destroy terrorism. There will always be people who want what you want and will hate you because they can't have it and cloak their hate in a shadow of terror, blaming their acts on our crooked way of life. In fact, they are upset that they are not one of us.
To keep terrorism at bay we are going to have to fight them any and everywhere we can find them. Sure this may create more, but we can kill them faster than they can indoctrinate themselves.
This may not be what you want to hear, but besides diplomacy and working with allies and educating the masses, there will have to be bloodshed. That is something that I can accept. That is why I stayed in the Army. To fight terrorism (in Iraq, Afghanistan, or anywhere) is a noble cause as it is really "fighting for our freedom".

By destroying Terror from our Minds.

Terrorism feeds on terror, just like Egoism feeds on ego.
Everybody is blaming everybody else for terrorism in this country. People blame the Politicians, politicians blame the Police, police blames the Foreign Hand. The foreign hand blames our Administration. Our administration blames our people....

But the simple truth is that we are afraid. Each one of us is mortally afraid. We are afraid of our own life, our wife's life, son's life, father's life, mother's life, grand-children's life, unborn great-grand children's life..... There is no end to our cowardness. We talk Big, act small. If a terrorist comes and shoves the barrel of his gun inside our mouth, there all all theories stop... all philosophies stop... all blame-games stop.

Terrorism has a simple ONLY Cure : Remove Terror from your head. That's all.

I don't ever think it is gonna happen, there will always be someone that thinks the other is wrong, it is human nature and we will always find people in the world that crave power and always wants to be the one in control even if he is wrong in others eyes.

There is only one answer to this question. I know this sounds ridiculous but this is the only way. The answer is to become one of them and become a leader of them. After that, you only have the power to control them (stop whatever they're doing).

I live in America and when the attacks happened in London, I saw We are Not Afraid signs everywhere. So I posted one on my apartment, Terrorist get off on fear and they can't have have mine. I might be a victim of a terrorist attack, but I'll never be in fear, cause it feeds their cause!
