Good catch. It's all a big game in front of the cameras. They eat at the same restraurants, drink at he same bars and play golf together on weekends. The entire system is corrupt in my opinion and if any of our founding fathers (the true Patriots) could be brought back to see Washington D.C. today, they would either:

1) Clean house like Jesus did in the Temple or
2) sit down and weep biterly.

Great question!

It is all about playing to their base. In our polarized political environment, what would the Dem's think about Kennedy and the Republican's about McCain, if we learned that they have lunch together once a week?

So, they put on a good show in public, when in reality, they are all part of the most exclusive "club" in the world.

It's all positioning to keep their constitutes happy. They go to dinner together and drink together and probably share call girls, but they have to act like they don't like each other.

The really bad part is we pay for it both as a country divided and we are probably paying for the food, drink, and girls with our tax dollars.
