Hand her the gift with a card attached asking her to be your valentine or hand her the gift and ask her to be your valentine at the same time. Then try to have a conversation with her.

Do it at the same time buy her somthing nice and when u give it to her "would you be my Valentine. That always work with gurls we like that romantic stuff. Then after u do that take her to a movie or out somewhere then at the end of all that ask her did she have a good time with u. Then probably at the end give her a good night kiss but if she wants more than a kiss then give her more

I'd think the gift first would be great! That kinda pursue's her to be your Valentine, yah know!
--Maybe make it anonymous or something cute like that, or even have some anonymous flowers sent to her house with a lil note in them that says " would you be my Valentine" then later come in and say somethin like "so what do ya say,...will you?" OOOHHH it would be so sweet! Good Luck! Hope this helps a lil....
