Rockem sockem robuts, moon shoes, of course GI Joe,Jungle Jim, Jane, My grandson used to love the match box cars , he was about 10 yrs old and he had a friend up and the were racing them in the drive way, got the smart idea that some of the car catch fire when they wreck so the boys put some gasoling on them and struck a match, Yeah, almost burnt the garage down. Someone happen to be going by and say them trying to put the fire out and stopped, Thank God. Grandson was scared to death, no more match boxes for him for a while.

My favorites were: Jacks, Not a toy, but hop scotch. I am probably a lot older than most on here, but back in my day (before TV) we didn't have many toys. Monopoly or card games were our greatest fun and then families were much closer, doing things together. We would go and collect black walnuts, and then take turns using the hammer to bust them open. Another thing was sleigh riding. That was when there were big hills to go down, now they are all gone due to construction. It was so much fun!

I always loved my dolls the most, but I also had fun with my Easy Bake Oven, Creepy Crawlers, Incredible Edibles, Mr Potato Head, Cootie, Jingle Jump, Super Stuff, Crazy Foam, Flintstone Building Boulders, the games I liked most were Mystery Date, Clue and Lie Detector.

I used to love Lincoln Logs, & those miniature bricks they had before they came out with Legos. My dad's an architect, but we couldn't afford doll houses back then, so I'd build floor plans and furniture out of them, and use found items for other things, like an upside-down pot for a table or a plastic cork from a wine bottle for a lamp.

What about Jax where you had the spike type things you tossed on the floor and then a rubber ball that you bounced. We used to use the Jax and through them under bike tires when bullies road by.
