There a million forms of prejudice, if you're not 'able-bodied', if you're overweight (which is a disease not an informed choice I might add), if you're too tall, too blonde, too rich, too thin, if your hair is too frizzy, your teeth aren't straight, if you act a little gay, if you're not 'straight', if you're not too sharp or if you're too clever...come on let's face it, is there ANYONE out there who has sailed through life without experiencing any kind of 'prejudice' in any of its forms?
What would you say to me;
I have CHOSEN a husband outside of my race so I know our children will have a different skin colour to those in the UK AND in Malaysia. I have also converted to another religion and become a Muslim! Have I brought prejudice on myself? I don't think so. I made choices that I have to live with, but there are some people that will never understand why I have done this.
I can't think of one stage of my life I haven't agonised over comments made by others around me about something or other that is none of their business. So why worry about them commenting on anything else, like skin colour or lifestyle?
In one second a person can look at you and make a judgement, so if you're having a bad moment [angry] and are about to hit something, you didn't shower yet, you just left the gym...whatever, there are some people you'll see who assume you ALWAYS look like that and judge you on it. It's a form of prejudice.
Can you think of a perfect person? Perfect in EVERY way? Someone you can't criticize for something or other? If you can, then you're like me, accepting of people for WHO they are, not the package they come in. But not everyone is like us, some people will belligerently express how they feel without any consideration for your feelings, that is their bane, their torment and the guilt they have to carry to the grave.
Love yourself and your loved ones and rise above the rest, just for the record, I ALWAYS wished to have dark skin! And I think there are a lot of people who would say I'm crazy, but it's the truth!
Think about what I've said sweety ;-)

I hate what if questions. His spouse is darker than him already. I actual dont imagine it ought to count number regardless of the reality that. I dont understand of any president wining an election because of ways the individuals felt about the spouse. Even Hillary lost the primaries at the same time as her husbands acceptance grow to be throught the roof. Who you marry doesent impression in case you'd be voted into place of work.

It is ignorance. The truly ignorant person reaches uncompromising conclusions without thoroughly studying the other point of view and displays animal like agression to anything unfamiliar.

because racism, breeds racists. People teach their kids what they have learnt and so racism is handed down through generations of supremesists (not just whites).
I have accepted that racism will never ever go away, I have instead decided not to waste my energy, breath and sanity on something I can never change. I just gave a mouthful to some guy being racist against blacks, it makes me mad because my husband is black and my baby is going to be mixed, but I can't change that man,or reason with him. Racists want to be racist. So let them. Lets not give them anymore of our time.

Because people are basically frightened of others who are not like themselves.
In most cases common decency and intelligence overcomes this irrational fear, but not in all cases...
