I agree there is NO forgetting Valentines day. There are way to many commercials and other reminders. If he "forgets" I would probably be very upset and break up with him, unless we've both agreed never to celebrate the holiday. This is a major sign that you are not worth the time and trouble to prepare anything, get out now. It's not all about getting material things, but it is a major opportunity for him to show you how much he values you. If he's a starving artist, he can still paint you a picture. Don't settle for less, or you will set your standards progressively lower and end up unhappy and wondering why.

nope. && my friend agrees. if he forgets he forgets. Valentine's day is a just a holiday that the hallmark company made up to celebreate how some people have love, and those who don't have lovers will then be depressed that everybody else recieves somthing. So why shoud there be revenge on a person who doesn't get you something. Its okay, as long as you know they love you and they don't need a day out of the year to say that they they love you. randomness of love cards is much better than focusing on one day. Make it different rather than following the norm.

No way. valentines day is like teeny potatos. Any girl who gets mad about valentines day is a total baby. the only days a guy shouldn't forget are 1. anniversary 2. her birthday 3. mothers day(if she's a mama) 4. christmas. valentines day is so lame it should hardly matter if you forget it.

Ew. Revenge by...that? Really? You sound like a child. Quite immature. Just forget it. She's obviously not the one for you. Get over her and find someone new.

So, for you, Valentine's Day is all about getting, not giving. Gifts not emotional support. Sad. No, I don't have revenged plotted. I feel good about giving to him.

People don't forget Valentine's Day, there are too many reminders. If that happens to a woman, then I must say that "He was just not in to you".

Valentine's Day is just another commercial venue. It's what my significant other does on all the other days that matters to me.
