it says there area 102 "missing files" that r a medium threat!!!! does anyone know of a free program that could fix these "missing files"?????????

Sounds like you have been the victim of a virus. Do you have a backup copy of your important data? If you don't, make a back up right away. The below listed site has virus removal tools. Accepting "free" things on line can get you the kind of trouble you are having now, unless you knw the source.If Symantec's tool does not help you, you will have to consider buying an anti-virus program. You should probably do this anyway. There are several good ones out there. If anti-virus programs don't work for you, you will have to reformat your hard drive and reinstall your operating system. You can restore your computer to an original state, just your data will be lost. That's why I recommended doing a backup before you go any further. Good luck. If you need help, CompUSA and Best Buy have tech help in their stores.

just go in and delete those files.. that what i have done and that seems to fix it. also be sure to turn off your screen saver before running defrag.
