Hai there Intan..yup, tak salah nak berbahasa melayu kat site nih..tapi cuma some people jer paham bahasa kita..some lebih suka cakap 'omputeh'..sama juga macam saya..dah biasa berbahasa Inggeris..bukan nak menunjuk2..tapi senang orang 'luar' atau tempatan nak memahami kita..
nak belajar berbahasa Inggeris..tak susah..untuk permulaan..(ikut pengalaman masa kecik dulu)..mak kita selalu suruh ambik buku cerita bahasa Inggeris dan baca..tak paham sesetengah perkataan..ha..rujuk kat kamus..and sampai sekarang saya selalu amalkan and alhamdullilah..i can speak fluently.. :-)
Good luck!!

Are u planning to have a tour in Malaysia? If u r, then I hope this helps...Practically speaking, most of the people in KL speak English...it depends on how fluent u want them to speak, now that would be a good question...Malaysia is a melting pot of cultures with people being termed as polyglots as they speak more than Malay and English....remember, there are 140 different languages in Malaysia of which most are spoken in East Malaysia.U can easily get by with English but a little Malay language helps and a bonus if u can utter some Cantonese(predominantly used in KL) though Mandarin is also understood. If u r down south, Hokkien(Fu Jian Hua) is predominantly spoken among the Chinese there though we have a good mix of Hakka, Teochew speaking communities there as well.My advice, speak simple English, with clear diction and hand gestures if the recipient doesn't understand...a smile helps as well as Malaysians are known for their generous smiles...have a good time in Malaysia.

maximum malaysian malays do no longer talk the classic malay language.the classic malay language is basically for formal training and mass media. all the malaysian malays have their roots from indonesia .there is no such element as a real blue malay ( in uncomplicated words the orang asli and some sabah /sarawak natives can make such declare ) therefore the way maximum malay speaks will be different from states to states.( like minangkabau , semboyan, aceh etc etc etc) The orang asli ( aborigine) have their very own language. an exceedingly sturdy social gathering will be interpreting any substances from any malaysian sultan/s. ALL are from indonesia!
