When I tried to watch something on youtube it says: "Depending on your data plan, you might incur additional charges" ... what does this mean? -------------- it means that... depending on your data plan, you may be charged... not everyone has unlimited data... So to prevent being sued by illiterate non techie wireless users, Youtube puts up that message. My contract gives me 500.00MB per month and have only used up 495.65MB of the mobile web... ------------- eeeeewwwwwwwww..... you only have 4.4 MB left... not not not GOOD! so will I get a bill for watching a youtube video? ------------ with only 4.4MB left... YES!!!!! A youtube video cna be 100MB+ to stream!!!!!! That will put you over 500MB..... So, you go over your 500MB capp, you WILL BE CHARGED OVERAGES! This is why Youtube and many many other websites and apps say---- "Depending on your data plan, you might incur additional charges".... **cough** overages **cough** the message never used to pop up, I still have MB left? ----------- think of it this way... you have $500 a month... you spent $495.65.... you have $4.40 left in your wallet... and you want to buy a $100+ video... do you have $100 in your wallet?!?!?!?!?!? NO! Will I get billed? ------------ yes why is it telling me this? ------------- so you can learn... and so they dont get sued
