I wonder why it didn't make life fun with this Combination of tech!

No but Bill Gates demanded that the pixel count for digital TV be changed from the world accepted standard of 720 to 640 because it might be difficult for him to display on computer screens. So now that digital TV is here, where are the PC TVs that we had to reduce our resolution standards for?

No, Bill Gates is a copycat, he will first wait for another company to do that or something similar and then copy from them. An example of this is the crappy zune which is the copy of an ipod.

it sort of exists in the form of tablet/laptop computers with built in wifi capability and wireless hotspots... you can watch tv from any country over the net along with internet radio and most radio stations stream to the net now so it does exist...
