i missed how the ferry accident happened? what did they hit to have all that trauma?

I watched the show last night and I don't remember them saying what happened to the ferry. They arrived on the scene and started treating people right away. It was a really really good show last night.

They said it was a fog bank, you can barely hear it. As they show up on the scene a paramedic says it I think. They don't show how it happened. Just some guy off scene talking about a fog bank and a container ship.

It looks like it just hit the pier and the cars on board hit one another and the gas tanks exploded.

The ferry didn't hit anything, it was smashed into by a container ship.
