No, because it is true that you do not know another person untill you have to live with them.If you are not happy you should not have to stay married.

For some women Divorce meant/means freedom, that's right FREEDOM, from an abusive husband or a husband who is not capable of a monogamous relationship. Yes, for some men it is also the way to end a relationship with an unfaithful wife. No, Divorce should not me abolished as long as there is marriage. Why would you want to abolish this?

Divorce should never be abolished. I know in my case, I'm thankful there is such a thing as divorce. When I got married, me and my husband where in love and got along great. When we signed the marriage certificate, everything changed. It went from me not being "allowed" to wear make-up to not seeing my friends. I was pregnant with my first child and he "forbid" me from seeing my parents. He was very abusive and would have killed me and my unborn baby if I didn't leave him. Until we can guarantee that people are who they claim to be, divorce should always be an option. Thank you and GOD bless.

no because then you would be stuck with someone you didn't love. Marriage is some thing yes is suppost to be shared with one person but as people get older some people change either for the best or the worst and the other person in the relationship may not change and may not be ready for change. Yes when you get married you say for better or worse but you or that person needs to be happy too.... so if not being together make you and that person happy then so a divorce comes in handy!

No, you can't force people to stay together. What about abusive marriages? I think it shouldn't be entered into lightly. But you can't condem people to be stuck in a loveless or abusive marriage forever. Never able to move on or remarry. I understand it's becoming an epedemic, but the answer isn't to abolish divorce. There should be premarital counseling and things like that.

If people didn't rush into marriage, if there were no sex before marriage(creating a "need" to get married) if people got counseling before marriage, if the wedding industry wasn't so big, if people really thought long and hard about the person they were about to marry, then MAYBE divorce wouldn't exist. Wouldn't necessarily have to be abolished.

ARE YOU CRAZY!! No it should not. That condemns children to living with two people who hate each other but are forced to be together by some stupid law. It condemns women in domestic violence cases to have to stay. This is not a rude answer but when you ask a question like this I think you didnt think it out very well.

I think marriage needs a three strikes law.If you can't make it work after the third time, you should't be allowed to get married anymore.
