Get one thing straight. We are led by an IDIOT that we hate. He makes the desisions, not us. it was our mistake to vote for him. We are innocent bystanders.

A number of commentators have been predicting a period of 'resource wars' for a few decades now, and most people see Afghanistan and Iraq as the first battlefields. I have no doubt that, as the population of the earth grows and clean, unpoluted water becomes scarces, it will become as big a cause of war as petroleum is...
I'm not an American by the way, but I share your concerns, and felt I should add my opinion. I'm South African, and I suppose we're 'lucky'. Apparently the entire country will be turning into desert as global warming comes into its own, so we'll have nothing for people to go to war over.
EDIT:
I have to agree with some of the other answers though. I don't think the majority of americans support these actions, but they are so brainwashed by the media that the just don't understand what's really going on.

I cannot speak on behalf of the U.S. population, but I don't think the war in Iraq is all about oil, but the country is split over that assertion. I think our initial involvement there was miscalculated and ill-advised, to be sure, and we need to stabilize the government and get out of there as soon as possible.
Regarding water and Brazil, the Great Lakes contain 1/5 of the world's fresh water. I'm sure that diversion (terribly unpopular within the Great Lakes area) would occur long before we would think about attacking another country for it.
Plus, we have good political and business relationships with Brazil. And many Americans, like me, have friends and family there.

What schools in the United States teach that the Amazon rain forest is internationally owned? I have never heard any school make that statement here. The only thing that is taught about the Amazon rain forest in relation to international issues is its importance to the global ecosystem. Also, why would there be a war for Brazil's water? Brazil is not the only place on earth with plentiful water supplies.
Honestly, I don't know what you are asking because your English is terrible.

There are many who don't know what you're talking about. They believe everything the media tells them. So if the government is invading another country to free the people of a dictator, then that's why they're doing it. Most people just want to go on and live their lives; they have very little understanding of politics, intrigue and ulterior motives.
The Americans that do know it was about the oil most certainly do not approve! In fact, if Bush got on the air right now and said, "You know all that stuff I was saying about freeing the Iraqi people? Yeah, it was all a lie. I just wanted the oil." then he would have an approval rating of 0%. Possibly 1%. Some people really are stupid. People would be so mad, they'd be calling for his arrest. The majority of Americans may be blind to the rest of the world, but they are not amoral monsters.

They will find some excuse to invade Brazil when the time comes and the US propaganda machine with channels like FOX news will brainwash gullible hillbilly Americans into thinking that this is being done in the name of freedom. Intelligent Americans will see this aggression for what it is just as they see the agression in the Middle East today for what it is. However, the majority of ignorant people who live on Hollywood movies and fast food will blindly believe anything they are told by the Neo Cons and as working class American kids come home in bodybags to fund US corporate greed they will continue to sing god bless America

As an American I can answer that I do NOT want to own the world. In fact the world pisses me off so much I am about to declare we should lock ourselves away.
1) Our leadership is a bunch of wackos that hear voices
2) We are so stressed and at breaking point becaus the whole world blames us for everything and demands that we fix all problems. I notice that when the UN wants something done it is a 100,000 to 1 ratio of US soldiers to other troops.
Leading to one conclusion. America needs to back off since we have no right to try to run the world (we are arrogant) and the rest of the world has to grow up and stop making USA fix everything for you (world is a wussy).
