During the first few weeks of embryonic life in the womb, there is no physiological distinction made between male and female embryos. The nipples are formed then, like all the other bits and pieces (that distinguish baby boys from baby girls). It is only later, once puberty is hit that they come into their own. As men don't produce sufficient quantities of female hormones, their nipples do not swell into suckling teats.

No idea there as useless as "ti-ts on a bull", pardon the expression its a common phrase over here ! Really !
However, as for Why ? They seem to be common throughout the animal kingdom as well ! I just had a brain wave ! You know how when the faetus is developing inside the womb right ! the sex is determined by the XX OR XY CHROMOSOME, I read somewhere that all developing life starts as female and if enough testosterone is realised within the embryonic stage life then begins to develope into male, not sure at which exact time - but it would have to be very very early ! If this occurs the ovaries drop to become testies etc... so maybe male nipples are a sideline of earlier female charachteristics, and all animals would seem to be the same in that process.

Men have nipples because we all start off the same in the womb. Baby boys just grow some extra bits towards the end.

Like alot of body parts that don't seem to have a purpose, its a leftover from fetal formation. You were once both genders and had both parts, including nipples.

Men have nipple because women have nipples. We've all got the same stuff, sort of. Like testicles, men have two, women have two ovaries. We're all made from the same mold, it's just how we develop in the womb and our chromozones that determine how our parts develop.

So the question is why does God have nipples? this is a question all religious leaders must be qualified to answer. Id hazard my two pence worth that He has them because He wants to?
