Agree, always happens to me too, guess you will have to take everything out of the drawer, shake bits of paper to make sure the stamps haven't got tucked away inside them and hopefully they will turn up, good luck and hope you find them.

I am so glad this happens to someone else. I only ever seem to use one or two stamps before they disappear. Then when I don't need them, there seems to be books of stamps everywhere.

Be organized and systematic. I keep my book of stamps with my check book in a leather check book holder. The check book is kept in the same place when it is not in use. It works everytime.

Organize a place in your room assigning it for office use and always
place your postage stamps there till you become habit.

This happens to me quite a lot, I have found that by looking in the
last place I would have thought of looking first it saves a lot of time.

It's the post office; they make them out of special disappearing paper, timed so that you can use only one, which triggers the self destruction of the book, fairy fashion. Clever but underhand eh? Grrrrr from me too..

They run away somewhere I think.
Actually I eventually discovered that my boyfriend was responsible for 'borrowing' mine.

I always tuck mine in my checkbook. I use them for bill paying and they are always there.
