Anytime I watch a scary movie, I have a nightmare, ususally with ghosts or someone in my family getting killed, NOT GOOD

This might not be scary to anyone else. It was when I was in college and after I finally saw 2001 when it was revived in theaters. In my dream, I was suddenly standing on top of a skinny monolith just hanging in space and I could see the earth from a distance. (Strange there were no stars or moons but I could see) I Had to balance myself and look out for "stuff" and rocks flying around!! And Hey that was before we knew all we know now, so I was a visionary. Yes, I was. Anyway, that was scarier than any monsters I have dreamed of since!! What you call VIVID dreaming!! @8-) Fear of Abandonment or Out of My Depth!! Maybe Marooned!!

my dreams are usually very weird not so scary. I do have very scary visions when im just drifting off to sleep though. once I saw a dead nakid child in the bathroom of my place of employment . that scared me for a long time.

When I was a kid I would dream of a giant spider with a human head. That one woke me many times.
