I've heard that nothing gets as close as a blade, but the electric trimmer is still VERY stubly. So would an electric shaver be any better? Which kind of shaver is better...foil or the ring-looking shave heads?

Would appreciate any helpful input. Thanks!

If by trimmers you mean like the clippers they usually do your hair with, and by electric shavers you mean like the ones that have the 3 circles on with wires or whatever that do the cutting. Yeah, the electric shavers do get a lot closer. I've never used the foil kind but the 3 ring kind works pretty well, but why not use a blade? They get closest of all. Honetly I prefer twin blade disposables over anything.

What are we talking about shaving here?.... I've used all 3 on my face, use 1/2" attachment on clippers to trim my upper pubes, and never use anything but a razor on my shaft, sack and crack.

from my experience, i say that the electric shavers with the 3 circle heads are the best!!! with blades, i cut myself like a zillion times each time i shave, the electric shaver gives me a close, smooth shave with no cuts. so i reccomend the electric shaver!!

I use a remington dual foil and it works really well as long as you use it every day
