If you were born on this day, tell me what kind of person you are, I know I struggled with emotions growing up and now that I'm older I feel stronger and more self assured.
I feel like there is this universal presence swirling around me these days, helping me work on getting past old stuff, so I can let something new in. Is this feeling due to the age of Aquarius?

Also I suck at relationships, do any of you experience having a hard time connecting with people emotionally in a one on one situation? In a group setting I'm on fire, laughing, entertaining, empathizing etc but one on one I totally clam up.

I haven't given up in attempting to develop my relationship skills but I can honestly say it's soooo hard, my aloof, distant nature gets in the way alot, I'm mindful of this so I work even harder to be present, I still make mistakes but I'm able to rectify most misunderstandings when dealing with people.

No... but I was born on that day in a different year... mid 80's And I'm happily married.. i never thought I would be but I am... I used to be horrible one on one as well... but thing finally work out... just have to keep trying, practice makes perfect.

I have a bad temper... but it's getting better, and I can really feel God Working in my life. I've been reading The Purpose Driven Life... and things are geeting good.

I don't think that Aquarius has anything to do with it... because on some calenders we're Capicorns...

you are 9 months and 1 day older than me! Dec 19th 1973! Since you're capricorn you know that there is some special purpose for you in life; you have an easier time connecting with that than most people. I think your aloofness must come more from your aquarian cusp. But that would also mean you have an easy time getting people to like you and you are probably very interesting. You just need to find a relationship where you can allow each other to relax and not have to live your life 12 inches in front of your face all the time. Find someone you can be quiet with and still feel good, and someone who will be able to let you have a good time when you are feeling social.
New things will come when you are ready.

I was born 2 days before Roe vs. Wade came down. Change was in the air...
The day of my birth Richard Nixon gave his 2nd inaugural address, which for me is the time a president has the potential for speaking more sincerely going forward... and, in this case, was when the writing was on the wall for this president, who left office little more than a year and a half later. The day of my birth he said:
"As America's longest and most difficult war comes to an end, let us again learn to debate our differences with civility and decency. And let each of us reach out for that one precious quality government cannot provide--a new level of respect for the rights and feelings of one another, a new level of respect for the individual human dignity which is the cherished birthright of every American."
And stood fast against our country's "condescending policies of paternalism" weighed out in the previously mentioned decision.
Much of what you said about relationships seemed to ring true for me as well. The lady I thought I should have married I walked away from without dealing with the emotional turmoil and confusion that came up when she shared an honest and human breaking from our fidelity when she danced with a guy whom she started to become attracted to... nothing happened other than that between them, but it started a break from someone I fell into a wonderful interconnectedness that I still relish. But even that fortunate coupling went array.
We were born on a unique day... when we were young they said we were Capricorns. Then as we came of age there was a shift that said we were just on the other side of the next sign, Aquarius. The Age of Aquarius? I don't know how that would mean much more than just another label to add to our story, but life may be getting better. One can hope... I'm a hospice chaplain... I've been a leader and offered words for change... I enjoy a small community of people who are starting to know me better, but very few know me well... and I can say my father was one of those who survived a cruel war that was almost as bad to come home from... and we've lived through our share of changes.... So as special as we may be for being born on that day, hopefully, we will still have more to look forward to and to offer.
