looking for a big old office block/commercial property to hire for a weekend to run a murder/mystery style game in but no idea where to start!

I've tried estate agents but not had much luck so thought I'd ask here for ideas...

Needs to have several floors, lots of rooms, running water/toilets and ideally power but otherwise I don't really care about condition.

Needs to also be relatively central in the country - london/manchester/gloucester are my boundaries as I'm based in northampton

thanks very much for any help anyone can give!

You could try the people used by TV and film companies to source locations:

http://www.thespacemen.co.uk/
http://www.uklocations.co.uk/

Best of luck

There are also specialist film locations agencies that have a larger portfolio of locations in the Midlands such as UKFilmLocation.com who have some 300 location choices that span Warwickshire to the Scottish borders.
Here you'd find an array of factories, warehouses, family homes, designer properties, even a world war 2 army camp!

For people looking to hire kitchens as locations for cookery based shoots, or for use in dramatic scenes, then www.kitchenfilmlocations.co.uk have over 100 kitchen film location options to choose from, and with the site being so specific to kitchens for filming, its very easy to find what you're looking for too.

do what they did in "the full monty", go chat up a security guard at some abandoned warehouse, and then start stripping down in it, make sure to turn off the security cameras first.
