The eight American dead, the first to die in the Revolutionary War, were John Brown, Samuel Hadley, Caleb Harrington, Jonathon Harrington, Robert Munroe, Isaac Muzzy, Jonas Parker, and Ashahel Porter. Jonathon Harrington, fatally wounded by a British musket ball, managed to crawl back to his home, and he died upon his doorstep.

Crispus Attucks was fired upon by British troops in the Boston Massacre of 1770. Attucks and many other free blacks who lived in the North opposed British rule in the American Colonies.

Crispus Attucks, said to have been the first black man killed in the lead-up to the actual war, was one of several Patriots shot down in the streets of Boston during an infamous incident that's now known as "The Boston Massacre". Yes, there were free Blacks in America back then, and he was one of them.
Wikepedia is WRONG to omit Attucks!
