Look on your local sex offenders register. The BEST thing to do is err on the right side of caution and NEVER leave your kid(s) alone with him!

Perhaps you should enquire at your local police station regarding what to do. Be careful though, if you have no evidence that the neighbour is a paedophile then you could just be starting another Salem witch hunt.

if your worried that your neighbour is a paedophile because he looks at your kids weirdly or whatever just keep your kids away from him. hes probably not, but itll keep your mind at ease. if you have good reason to think he is, ie you found kiddie porn while you were watering his plants when he was on holiday, id call the police!

Go to your local police station and you will be able to obtain a list of registered sex offenders by filling out a request form. It will give you a list of all the sex offenders that live and work in your town, and the addresses of their home or employment. It will also tell you what the charges were.

Make friends with them, go round for coffee get to know him and just see if he has a suspicious personality.
Then you can wait till they go to the loo and snoop downstairs, then ask to use the loo and snoop upstairs.
I wouldnt usually suggest something deviant like this, snooping is wrong - but when its childrens safety at risk, I'd prefer to at least try something to put my mind at rest.
You might find he is a really nice chap and your worries are unfounded xxx Hope so :)

ask the police if you can look at the local registered sex offenders list. I think they have to let you look at it - but I am not sure.

The way I see it is - what you dont know cant hurt you - if you have your doubts then I suggest giving him a wide berth.
