I have a leo friend and he seems to carefully methodically not reveal certain heart felt emotions, when I ask him certain questions he seems to manuever away from them. Also is it natural for a leo to become aloof once he has gotten you to say I love you.
After saying I love you a million times and pursuing a person endlessy and when it's reciprocated it seems all weird after that....What's up with the silence?

So you have made me aware that it's Leo pride and ego that keeps a Leo from opening up but how does one get around this, do I tell him that I will accept him no matter his indiscretions or short comings.
How do I make him feel at peace that I aint going nowhere no matter what?
I certainly verbalize this to him, I let him know no matter what I'm simply staying put and working it out. Is this what you mean by ego stroking because baby I been stroking it!! lol

I believe it's more of a trust issue and losing his freedom issue, I revealed some feelings to him recently and things turned around dramatically.... thanks to a few responses I got on here.
I realized he was afraid that he would lose his freedom and I had no desire tosteal his lion thunder so I shed some light on it and assured him that I understood what his needs are.
Man!! I got I love you texts and phone calls after that but also I think because his Venus is in Cancer he likes to be pursued, which is what I think is accurate b/c he does respond better when I PURSUE him and stroke his ego which I have no problem doing considering I'm a little aggressive in my approach to things when I want something.
This is all new but it's work and the more I put in work the more he seems to respond positively.

leos are leaders and protectors.they hold in thier emotions for fear of losing thier place as the king.they are strong but loyal.if he loves you,he will love you forever.but like the lion you must first catch and attempt to train him.leos have to always be the center of attention and if they are stuck in a relationship they feel they wont be in the spotlight any more..they crave attention..but once tames they are loving and faithful.my wife caught me,and even though i get hit on all the time,i am hers forever..good luck.

I don't do horoscopes, but I'm a Leo. Leo's feel very deeply with their hearts--more so sometimes than most people. While we attempt to always have our heart and head together, particularly in matters of feelings, that's not always achieved. That's what your friend is afraid of, I think. He's being silent because of what I've explained. Good luck! Unless I've missed something, he LOVES it...you're "stroking kitty's fur." Don't give up on him...if it's meant to be, he'll "come around" to see the love you have for him.

I am a Leo woman. I share my feelings only with people I trust. Does he trust you. Or, more importantly, does he love you? if he is not sharing his feelings with you I would question both...sorry to be harsh but Leos are not that hard to figure out, unless there are other circumstances I am not aware of...

They have high pride.. they r egocentric and like u to praise and show admire to them not the opposite!
i had the same experience but i knew how to break the pride of any arrogant Leo

if u want to win a Leo heart always appreciate him and show admire to him ..care about him as he hates to be ignored.. he wants to feel as if he is ur protector and hero.. give him this feeling even if it is false! but if he didn't respond to u , leave him he doesn't deserve ur love and affection....

its a pride issue. dont like to get hurt and dont like the other person know how much u need them. we like to be self sufficient and independent. the stop talking is trying to shut feelings off just in case u were to leave,.... they dont wanna get hurt. and its hard to hurt if emotions are shut off. (let me know if u have any more ???)
