Definately during, perhaps its because its 'forbidden' and perhaps its the hormones getting you ready for reproduction.
I think if you are in the right relationship and trust the other person it's okay to make love during this time but have tissues and perhaps lay on a towel.

Definitely, I get horniest at that time of the month. Orgasm releases all sorts of neurotransmitters (eg endorphins and encephalins) that are great for getting rid of menstrual pain!

my gf is always begging me to do her in the shower while she's on her period. I always make her beg for it and always play like "ewwww, that's so gross and you're such a dirty girl" but she knows I'm just kidding, I really enjoy it too, and I always give it to her.

i am always more aroused before and during my period, straight after i dont want it at all, ive got a very understanding husband so its not an issue, theres ways of pleasing a man without intercourse

I do just a couple of days before, then not at the start for 2 or 3 days, then even more horny on my last days of my period................
