I would pick the song we picked as our song as a couple, if that does not work for you then pick Jack johnsons better when we are together. It is a matter of your tastes as a couple as to what you would like, but i would pick the very best song i would love to dance to for the first dance because this is one of the most important events in you life.

You have some hilarious answers already! As others have suggested what songs mean something to you? I personally like Richard Marx Now & Forever, but it may be too slushy for you! Happy Wedding whatver song you choose, why not get a love compilation album (there must be tonnes about with Valentines coming up!) and see what floats your boat?!

I vote for "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry!

Okay, seriously, we don't know either of you. We don't know anything about your relationship. We don't even know what kind of music you like. Pick whatever song best reflects YOUR relationship. Just be careful that you really know the song you are picking. You would be amazed how many people pick the dumbest songs for their wedding. "I Honestly Love You" is about 2 people having an affair, "I'll Be There For You" is about a man who ignored his partner for years and is now sorry about it because she's left him, etc.....

To be honest all i can say is that you and you future wife will have to answer that. Music tastes obviously vary greatly. If you both write your ten favourite songs down - check for a match and there's your song. if no match go on to your twenty favourite songs and so on until you get a match and that will be YOUR song. If you go past fifty then maybe you're not such a good match yourselves, although they do say opposites attract!

Don't go for some song with deep lyrics. Go for something you both like and that you can dance to. Everyone will have their videocameras and camera phones on you at that point so you'll have to put on a good show.

"Highway to Hell"? Sorry, thought I'd be funny. It is friday and I wanna go home!!

Jack J is okay, but it is bit too mellow and slow. I like 'Truly, Madly,Deeply' . It is cute, sweet and has a nice tune. Or 'I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You', also from Savage Garden.
