Not that much. I drive to a park-n-ride lot and ride public transit (bus) to work most days and my company kicks in 75% of the cost of my bus passes to encourage people to take transit. So I spend less than $25 a month on bus passes, I don't have to pay to park, and I only live about 2 miles from the park-n-ride. It's part of the reason I chose to buy the house I did, which is about 40-45 miles from my work. If I had to drive to work every day and pay to park (about $6 a day), it would cost a fortune. Plus, I can read a book or take a nap on my way to and from work. I love it.

I dont drive but I ride with co-workers, I give them 10 dollars a week for gas, so that averages to about 2 dollars a day (work 5 days a week). I think that is reasonable, or I would of offered more.

I have my own car. I have to pay insurance and gas about $30 a week just for work.

i ride the bus... the tickets cost half as much as it costs me to drive... i pay $10.50 a week on tickets...

i go thru a tank and a half a week so the way i see it i spend at least one half of one days pay a week just to get to somewhere i dont wanna be ....depressing thanks .....
