I had a dream that my bf was having sex with one of our friends and I was there as well, and started to hook up with this Gabriel, a black angel. The bf did not like it so he stopped and went in the other room, I realized he'd left and went to find him. We talked and shared that we were not as comfortable as we thought we were with an open relationship. Later in the dream I found out that my bf was having an affair with Gabriel's roomate.

The dream signifies a healing -process within yourself. The flip-side of the coin called love is death. In order to get to the Love we are, we will have to "die" in our old ways of thinking and acting. Commitment seems in conflict with our sense of autonomy or freedom. When we surrender to the commitment though, we will regain our autonomy and freedom of choice for the better. Know thyself!!! Hmmm...maybe nothing. Does your boyfriend have a problem with black people? Him seeing you with a "black" angel triggered him to stop having sex with another person. So yes, maybe the open relationship is not so open. Examine this with your lover and see where it stands.

Well... This is just a guess.. but maybe you just have a thing for black angels. There's no harm there. I hear their halos are bigger and more satisfying. Your bf might be insecure about this, but you just have to reassure him that it's not the size that matters and that in time he will come to accept your immaculately conceived mulatto child? Traditiionally, Angels represent prosperity. So a black angel would imply hard financial times or worry about finances.
Your dream is a little different, but see if this might be part of it.

Mabey your insecure in your relationship. the black angel could be a sign of the guilt you may feel for not trusting your bf that manifests as a sign of darkness.
