All protein hormones are synthesised in the RER and brought to the Golgi complex for packaging. The same is the case with glycopdrotein hormones. Their protein part is synthesised in RER and carbohydrate moiety is added in the Golgi complex and then packaged before extrusion. Steroids are synthesised in the SER and they don't pass through the Golgi complex.
