Whether the recipient sees the page or the code is determined by the e-mail system they are using. Not all e-mail system are able to read HTML documents and will display them as code instead.

How you write an HTML page is also determined by the e-mail system you are using. It is unique to each different e-mail program. Check the HELPS for you program for information on how (and if) they support HTML code.

If you and your friends are using Outlook Express or Outlook, the easiest way could be:

1. Design your web page and check with Internet Explorer.
2. If the design is OK, From IE's menu bar, click [File] -> [Send] -> [Page by E-mail]
3. Your Outlook Express or Outlook open a new e-mail with your HTML.

Problem is you can't send the complicated layout.
