I'm gonna say read "I love You" by Cicelia Ahern...Then read Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. That way you won't have to reread the Harry Potter book if you buy the new one in July. The plot and everything that happens will be fresh in mind if you decide to read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I loved PS I Love You!! It's very good. But your choice, if you are like me, depends on your mood. If you want a sad tearjerker book then go with Ahern's. If you want action, fun, mysterious and magical, go with Harry Potter. That's how I usually choose! Happy Reading!!

It depends on several reasons and on what you like: 1. the topics are completely different, 2. the public is different, 3. the language of children literature is less complicated.

So, if you have no topic's preference and no time, start with Harry Potter.
