Yes and no. I still love much of the music I listen to as a teen mostly hard core punk (Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Big Boys, GBH, etc.) but as I have gotten older my tastes have broadened. As I have gotten older I have gotten into artists like Johny Cash, Lucinda Williams, Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal, Shins, etc. The great thing about getting older is you can see through the ******** a little more clearer. If the music you listen to as a youth still gets you going as an adult, then it was good music and still is. Music can be timeless no matter when it was produced. There are a few bands that I have to scratch my head and ask "what the hell was I thinking?". They didn't pass the test of time. Judging by the haircuts of a few of the women in my office, I think some of them think Bon Jovi still rocks.

Mine has. I'm not sure it has to do with age, specifically, though. I've always valued the lyrics as much as the music, and as the things I'm going through change, so does my taste in music. I don't suddenly stop liking the old stuff, but other music comes to the forefront.

Mine has always been the same, classic rock, music from the 70's. I don't know anything about any music that has come out in todays society. Sorry, but I feel like a has-been.

I think to some extent it does change. But then again if the bands that you like carry on making music their style also changes as they get older.
But yes your music tastes do change as will the choice of radio station you choose to listen to, and the programmes you watch on T.V

it changes, as you mature I think you enjoy music with a little more to say. I think as we get older new stuff sounds played out. Also it's harder to get behind bands with 21yrs kids singing about how the girls don't like them...I think we got past that stage in life so it doesn't appeal to us anymore...I really hope the bands I like keep making records cause I can't stand lots of the new music thats coming out...

Yes, because now I like the mellow music when in my 20's I liked the hard rock and loud music. =)

It's mellowing out somewhat. Though, as I have since childhood
I do not now or ever plan to condone the use of Country music.
