if 'to' is pronounced as toooooo then why isnt 'go' pronounced as gooooo

You could go on forever finding words like that. Photograph, why not with an F ? Laugh, should have 2 fs. etc etc etc

coz then it would be a "toe" english is actually one of the hardest languages to learn. let's face it we got one and won, to, too and two, there and their, where and wear and so forth.
