Both.
Man is destroying his own planet on the one hand and man is changing to adapt to a world that is ever changing on the other.
With advances in medicine the world now has much larger population of older people than before. We have far more pollution.
We have far quicker means of transport and communication.
But this also means that man has to change too and has done so.
Man is more sedentary now that he has the motor car.Man is better educated than he would have been.Man is more tolerant in some ways and less in others.
Whether the world is better I doubt. And whether man is better than he was is open to debate

Man is changing, the world is not. The sun rises and sets as usual, the moon, the tides, the wind etc etc. all are the same. Only man has changed, maybe for the worse, his needs are increasing, his greed is more, and his ego is also growing in size, and..........

The world is because men r there and men are there b'coz world is there. They compliment each oher. Existence of one is not complete without others. U cant seperate them and analyse. It has to b a whoistic approach. World is changing with man and man is also changing with world. In fact its difficult to visualise change in singularity. Both have to b there to notice the change. They both are changing with reference to each other. World is not same what it was b'coz man have changed. AND Man is not same what it was b'coz world has chaged. The is resiprocative. U cant judge it idealy. It is with reference to each other

Nelson Mandela and Abraham Lincoln are tremendous examples for this. Nelson Mandela undoutably replaced the international regardless of the indisputable fact that he had relatives issues for the better area of his existence. contained in the proper you opt on to confirm what's better major... the international replacing for what you imagine is the better effective or you residing a tender existence and journey love.
