And still...it does not amaze me that the people who only have negetive things to say about Nigeria are the ones who have never set foot there or the ones who only listen to the one sided bad press about the country. Nigeria like EVERY country in this world has its bad AND good points. The original poster may be genuine or he may not be, but he only makes up 1 person out of millions. Some people just never learn.
Thank you Pugsley for putting a positive light on Nigeria.

I am very much interested in Nigeria. But, finding a guide on Yahoo is not the best place. Unfortunately, Nigeria has a bad reputation. But, there are also many honest people there. The problem is telling the bad apples apart from the good ones.

good Lord! easy!!! Nigeria's not that bad!! My friend regularly travels there and has never experienced any problems. As for kidnapping oil workers (all of which are released unharmed) the oil companies should be investing more in the Niger delta, that would stop that problem. this is not a scam, the man is just offering to act as a guide if anyone wants to go there. It's called taking the initiative! Good luck to him.

With all due respect. . .are you serious?
Nigeria is now the most dangerous and corrupted country in Africa.

There are daily kidnappings of foreigners who work there in the petroleum industry. The Philippines just prohibited any of their workers to go there. Go to a library and pick up the February issue of National Geographic Magazine, read Curse of Nigerian Oil, Page 88.

What a great Idea. I'll tell you what, I am desperately needing to transfer a large sum of money into Nigeria. Please tell me your bank account number and sort code. You will then notice a marvellous difference in your bank balance.
