See? I knew someday everything we did..... everything we believe in would center around the Golden Arches.

Oh sure...... over 80 Billion served.... in the army. But did they let the poor guy who had never had any arches even get in line? **shakes head no** He never got to 'have it his way.' They said the army just wasn't his "kind of place." Now he's somewhere brooding and hitting the special sauce. He was rumored to have said, 'I'm lovin' it." But we all know he was just clowning around. He feels fried, pounded, and mcnothing will ever make him feel worthy of being the man we all know he is. Maybe he can turnover this attitude and filet a new position somewhere else in the military. But unfortunately due to the control of the Golden Arches...... he will never be the army's big cheese.

I think you're on a roll.

De feet are very important but winning is everything.

While we're discussing the military........
Do you think people get the impression that our military is inferior because of the media? I wish we would pull out of Iraq but I do think the focus is constantly negative, not just toward the administration but our military, too. After church Sunday I had lunch with 2 soldiers who specialize in unmanned spy planes. I was so amazed by the things they told me and of course, the really good stuff they can't divluge. But they were sharp as tacks, Gorky. I was so impressed and came away feeling as I always do when I interact with military folk - proud to be an American. They are just doing their duty and I just don't hear enough good things about them from the media.

Flat feet means no decent arch in your foot. This creates problems with all the marching, etc., and then the army would have to pay for any related medical problems with the feet, back, etc. I'm not sure they still reject you for flat feet though. It may be evaluated on a case by case basis.

if you have flat feet it kind of means you don't have any arches. I don't think this rule applies anymore with modern advances in foot care. Back in the day of my dad it would be a problem with the long marches and stuff. They would not let my dad in because of 'flat' feet.
