Not because they are dangerous, because they misled the public over poultry movements from Hungary. Dead turkeys are not poultry.

are they norfolkin good?
all poultry processors buy it in from other sources.. i worked at a factory that killed 14,000 chickens an hour, 14 hours a day, close on to 1,000,000 a week! and still that wasn't enough.. so they were sourced dead from elsewhere..
poultry bought from a supermarket is only 12 weeks old when it is slaughtered... how much growth hormones are pumped into them do you think... the manufacturer is also allowed to pump into the bird a percentage of the birds weight in water...
DON'T buy your poultry from supermarkets.. go to see your local butcher who will have free range poultry that hasn't been drugged has seen daylight and it will taste of chicken, where as mass produced poultry tastes of nothing..

it is not only mr matthews that does this..... ALL SUPERMARKET POULTRY IS IMMORAL

I have never knowing eaten anything sold or produced by this company and I never will.
I normally live off of pheasants, rabbits, pigeon and assorted road kill. Occasionally I do buy pork from a local farmer but I watch the happy pigs reared prior to their porking.

Never bought any Bernard Matthews products, over processed food is not my thing. Sorry for those who have because it must be a worrying time, but its time people stopped allowing processed food into their homes. Buy local, buy fresh and learn to cook!

I've never touched a Bernard Matthews product in my life. I don't like processed food of any kind. And I would never eat meat from intensively reared animals. Quite apart from the cruelty involved, intensively reared meat tastes pretty horrible.

No way! you only need to look at the ingrediants to not want to buy the stuff...let alone look at the meat....yuk!. As we know they are mass produced, pumped full of chemicals, slaughtered at @12 weeks, processed and then to add insult pumped up full of water/chemicals etc.to make it more 'value' for Mr Mathews. Its yet another convenience food . As many have already said..buy from your local farm.. I get all my meat and veg now from an organic box scheme, and since we have been eating it can't buy from supermarkets!

I have never and will never eat that sort of false food.
As a trained chef the thought alone of eating that sort of food makes me sick.
Going out into the yard and wringing a birds neck that I have raised is one thing eating that garbage is quite another.
If we eat rubbish we often become sick, that's not a coincidence. I would not even feed that stuff to my dog if people only knew what that processed stuff was doing to em Bernie and his ilk would be out of business in a week

Bernard Mathews 'con' I have never had any of his processed rubbish, never will. People should avoid this 'Brand' completely. I hope this will make people think and buy only good honest food. I hope this brings him down (Bootiful !), though I doubt it, he's got his 'millions'.
