Was this "just what do you get for trying to help someone"?

If so it depend who you help and how you help them. If you mean on here, if you genuinely help somebody with a problem great or small you get some sense of satisfaction. i do anyway.

Sometimes people just don't want anyone's help and get very offended when someone else tries to force help on that person. That is just how some people are. =)

usually nothing... or maybe a fruit basket wrapped up with kitsch blue cellophane and red ribbon. almost makes you wish you hadn't helped
