Before I started my business I worked in the corporate technical world where politics seems to be a way of life to most people. It really sucks.
My solution was to strive to always be the best, completely avoid anything to do with the politics and laugh at the people who played the games. I mean it, literally laugh every time they tried to drag me into it. Because I was very good at my job and didn't care what they thought about me, their games had no apparent effect. After a while they quit trying to provoke me because nobody wants to be laughed at. Otherwise, I was friendly with everybody. The political types don't know what to do with somebody who simply refuses to play.
In the 25 years I worked in the corporate world I went from bench technician to managing more than 100 people in a technical support department. It works and is less stressful than those stupid games.
You are entertaining because you react. Don't react or react in a way that doesn't fuel their games and they won't know how to deal with it.

There is a difference between joking around and harassment. If you feel that you are being harassed by a colleague, there are a few things that you can do.You can of course report the problem to your supervisor, the personnel department, or whatever department that has the authority to handle this situation. If You are being affected, emotionally, becoming physically ill, or it is hindering your work, then you need to take action. If you can speak to the person who is causing you to be uncomfortable, maybe they would understand that their taunting has gone too far. If they are reasonable, and did not realize the harm they were causing, maybe they would stop.If you could possibly try to make light of this teasing and show this colleague it does not bother you, they might discontinue their behavior. You have to decide how serious this is affecting your health and job performance and take the appropriate action.

Do not show the tension in your face. Smile at them and ignore. Or, just ignore them completely. Once they see that they can't get any kind of a reaction from you, they'll move on to someone else.

to stop the taunting comments - you should get advice from your companies HR (human resources) department, they should deal with the matter for you. Harassment at work should not be tolerated, whatever the circumstances!!
