What we often call terrorism, especially by developing nations or their vigilantes, is indeed freedom fighting: When people in their homelands are fighting off or resisting entities seeking to dictate and plunder from them, I do not call such "terrorism." On the hand, imposing economic sanctions on nations just to get them to comply to one's viewpoint on matters, regardless of the consequences of compliance for the threatened nation, is outright terrorism!
I think we can each help to minimize terrorism by simply learning to sometimes live and let live, stop seeking to dominate the rest of the world and concentrate on managing our various national affairs.

In order to erradicate terrorism you need to sort out the causes of terrorism. This is almost invariably a group of people who feel hard done by.
The Palestinians who feel that Israel has taken their country. The Basque seperatists who feel they are being ruled by the rest of Spain.
Muslims around the world who feel that the west is oppressing them (and don't forget that the Christians fought wars (Crusades) the world over trying to convert people and sometimes killing those who didn't).
The Irish who thought the British had 'stolen' Northern Ireland.
All of these people have legitimate reasons for being 'pi**ed off' and some of them are so desperate that they feel that the only way to fight there corner is to use violence.
Now, if you give Israel back to the Palestinians, then the Israeli's would be upset. If you allow Northern Ireland to join the Republic then there would be a lot of unionist who aren't happy.
All of these situations need sorting out before we will be completely free from terrorism. We've made good progress in Northern Ireland thanks to the likes of the IRA finally deciding to try and reach a suitable compromise through politics rather than semtex - but there's still a long way to.

Terrorism will continue to the end of life, simply cause we live on earth not Utopia or the heaven.
however, I believe that the best way to reduce it is to pray.
Praying do miracles sometimes.
but for those that are convencing about killing the innocent will get them to heaven, nothing can be done.
May God show them the right way and the true meaning of heaven.

I think the terrorism there will be no end. But I think USA didn´t need to attack those countries that we know have terrorists. Actually they already don´t like USA, why push them anymore?

i think we should be more friendly. and governments should too.
and specially US government shouldn't tread all countries and should be more fair.
for example why Israel and USA and so many countries have nuclear weapon but some countries aren't allowed to?
