Cuba is a beautiful country with a lot of things to see & do. They have beaches, waterfalls, mountains, caves, architecture, the list goes on and on. The people are very friendly and if you want to bring small items, such as candy for the kids, small bottles of shampoo, soaps, etc. they really appreciate it. I do not know what part of the island you will be visiting, I left a few links for the popular areas. Have fun !!

I haven't been there but I have a few friends who have. They say that Cuba is a lovely place and the people are very friendly. The food is good and there is plenty to do.
Apparently, It is a good idea to bring little gifts of pens, pencils and paper for the children as the people are very poor.

Cubans are very friendly people in general, however be very careful in Havana. We were violently mugged last year even though we tried to act low key and not look like obvious 'tourists'. Go to Cuba with open eyes and don't believe the hype in travel books.
