2)CD-RW (They can we used to write the data and erased it after use, agin fresh data can be written in it .Its Speed ranges upto4X to 12X

A cd recordable and writable is the same the difference comes when u have a rewritable or re recordable CD a rerecordable cd can have datra deleted from it and then re written on it. burning a cd is the same as writting a cd it is a fansy term used by the nero program just to impress customers.

I think you mean a CD-RW ( CD-Re-Writable ) there.
The link below should clear up your confusion.
The two disk types have completely different formats.
Burning a CD allows for a permanent copy of
something, which is cheap enough to be distributable.
Games, (bootable ) Operating Systems, System
Drivers, Photos, etc, etc
Having said that, one can treat a CD-RW as a CD-R to
test things like ISO files. When not needed it can be
be overwritten again.
On an aside, I trust you all responsibly recycle your
spent disks and don't just dump them in land-fill??

A recordable cd is that which can be writed only once. a writable cd is that which can be writed again and again.their capacity is of
700MB.if you writed on a recordable cd and their is some space left
and you want that in the future if i want to use that space than you can select make it a multi-session disc in nero.mind you in a multi-session disc we cannot delete the previous data but we can use the space left.rewritable disc is that which can be writed again and again.the use of burning is that like if we have a document
and we want to print it,then we can burn the file in a disc [if we don't have printer] and go to sibercafe and take out it's print out.
thanks!

CD-R itself means cd recordable or writable. when u use ur computer to burn a data in cd-r, it is referred to as writing/burning. if u record it using handycam or musical instruments, it is called recording.
the name burning came because the datas in the cds' are in 0s and 1s fromat. so all these datas are writed or recorded by heat. which means burning.

see the writing and recording are different mode of saying the same thing "saving the data on cd"
burning a cd is to save some data on the disc so that it can be used on a later span of time

In CD-R u cannot delete the data already present in the CD though u can add the data using "multisession " option while burning the CD-R.
In CD-RW u can erase the whole CD and burn it with data afresh.
Therefore CD-RW is more expensive than CD-R

there is no difference between them because writable and recordable they have the same meaning hence you can just write the information only once.
we also burn CD's because there is no way you can copy and paste the information.

I THINK YOU CAN'T RECORD A CD WITHOUT WRITING,& TO WRITE A CD YOU HAVE TO BURN PITCHES ON THE CD. AS YOU KNOW ALL THE CD'S HAVE LAND & PITCHES ONLY THE LASER REFLECTION RECIEVED BY PHOTO SENCOR & CONVERTED IN DIGITAL SIGNAL & YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT.
